“All flesh is like grass
and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
and the flower falls,
but the word of the Lord remains forever.”

***  IN-CHURCH COMMUNION AT CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH  ***

Communion has taken on a slightly different form but as Pastor Hasz explains: "The mystery and the benefits of these Holy Gifts remain undiminished and enduring."   Here our Brother Robert is carefully attending to administering the Sacrament with Pastor Hasz.  It is a beautiful thing!

Conveniently Located just Southwest of Paris, TN on Hwy 79 South

Christ Lutheran Church • 3235 Hwy 79 South • Paris, Tennessee 38242

"JESUS loves you, and so do we!"

We are still being truly blessed in our congregation.  We welcome with open hearts and open arms the new residents moving into West Tennessee.  It seems almost every Sunday we have new visitors in worship.  We lift up the glory of Jesus, our Savior from sin.  He died on the cross to give everyone in this world the forgiveness of all sins.  We have His promises that “whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved.”

We still preach and teach the Word of God in its truth and purity.  We still administer the Sacraments according to His commands and prescriptions.  We remain humbly faithful to the Words of Jesus in the Holy Bible.  We accept the complete Book of Concord (1580 A.D.) as a clear exposition of that Bible.  We still sign on to what Dr. Martin Luther (1483-1546) taught  in the days of the Lutheran Reformation, as it came to be known.

A strong foundation of his Bible Classes and lectures at Wittenberg University in Germany was the beautiful “Great Exchange” that he always described.  God took all the holiness and righteousness of His Son, Jesus Christ, and gives that to any and every believer; God took all your sins and failures and put them on His Son, dying on the Cross for you.  Yours became His;  His is now yours!    -   -   -   -Pastor Hasz
